Ariel Ward

Transportation Engineer/Livable Streets
SFMTA

At my core, I am an artist. As a transportation planner, engineer, and creative strategist, centering the humanity of others serves as the foundation of my work. As a practitioner with over ten years of expertise in the private and public sectors, my experience spans from project management, community-based transportation planning, design for active transportation projects, and youth engagement. At the center of justice is seeing those who have been, and continue to be, marginalized as human. Transportation is a critical pathway for connecting people to people, resources, and opportunity. I am dedicated to increasing mobility for all – regardless of the circumstances of their birth or background.
